If you’ve clicked here it’s because you want to know a little bit more about this site and the people who create it. I do that too! I ALWAYS click on the ‘About’ page before most other pages. So, seeing as we’re already a little bit alike I’ll try and give you the good stuff about what it’s like around here.

Meet the office, we are small but perfectly formed.

I’m Cherry, that’s me in the picture.

I’m married to Robert the Husband. We got married in a small wooden chapel with friends, family and sweet peas in attendance. We fell in love in a bar a year and a half after having first laid eyes on each other. My thoughts on Robert were “What a beautiful face”. Robert’s thoughts on me were “She’s trouble , I’m staying away”.
He came around to the right way of thinking in time.

I had twins in June 2010, a boy called Ned Xavier Roman and a girl called Anaïs Belle Darling. You can read my twin pregnancy diary right here.

I studied to be an actor at the best classical theatre school in England at the time. I loved acting but always found myself teaching myself new skills on the side. I taught myself to cook, bake, craft, sew, restore furniture, decorate etc.

In 2005 I started writing a blog about my household projects and my days in England. That blog turned in to the website that you see today and it now has an amazing team supporting it.

Hello, I’m Jodie

I work at Cherry Menlove.com as the Creative Content Manager, this means that I manage all of the content that goes up on to the website ensuring that all the right pictures are taken and used with the correct posts. I also have a degree in Media Studies which I studied for at Greenwich University, London.

I am mummy to twin girls, Truly & Daisy and wife to Garry who is a radio presenter. We also have a small white dog called Doogle.

I’m Cathy, the newbie, and I’m the Team Co-ordinator. I started working here at the beginning of the year & could now not imagine working anywhere else!

After gaining a degree in Creative Media & Public Relations from Exeter, I took a couple years out to go traveling. I met my lovely boyfriend Harry while working in a wildlife rehab centre in South Africa, decided he was a definite keeper and so brought him back home with me.
