If you’ve clicked here it’s because you want to know a little bit more about this site and the people who create it. I do that too! I ALWAYS click on the ‘About’ page before most other pages. So, seeing as we’re already a little bit alike I’ll try and give you the good stuff about what it’s like around here.

Meet the office, we are small but perfectly formed.

I’m Cherry, that’s me in the picture.

I’m married to Robert the Husband. We got married in a small wooden chapel with friends, family and sweet peas in attendance. We fell in love in a bar a year and a half after having first laid eyes on each other. My thoughts on Robert were “What a beautiful face”. Robert’s thoughts on me were “She’s trouble , I’m staying away”.
He came around to the right way of thinking in time. I studied to be an actor at the best classical theatre school in England at the time. I loved acting but always found myself teaching myself new skills on the side. I taught myself to cook, bake, craft, sew, restore furniture, decorate etc.

In 2005 I started writing a blog about my household projects and my days in England. That blog turned in to the website that you see today and it now has an amazing team supporting it.

Meet Jodie…………….

Hello, I’m Jodie

I work at Cherry Menlove.com as the Creative Content Manager. This means that I manage all of the content that goes up on to the website. I got my degree in media studies from an awesome university in London and this comes in useful when I’m  co-ordinating the projects that take place here at the house. I organise when the pictures have to be taken, ensuring it is all uploaded on to the website on time etc.
This means that I have to manage Cherry quite a bit, which is not a problem as she is my sister and we’ve known each other for a while.

I am mummy to twin girls, Truly & Daisy and wife to Garry who is a radio presenter. We also have a small white dog called Doogle.
