Today I am grateful for ……the seasons and how they bring beautiful frost to England
Last weekend my husband and I went out to lunch in a town about twenty mins drive from where we live. On a busy Saturday the town was shielded and surrounded by a cosy winter frost.
Of course as we drove onwards and deeper in to the countryside it seemed as if we had actually gone through to the other side of the wardrobe and were indeed in Narnia (Robert’s comment, I can’t take credit)
No filmmaker, set-dresser, director of photography or CGI expert could have created THIS and that is what I love about nature and the seasons. They show up from time to time and let us know exactly who’s boss.
Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful…….
…..and then this. “Hon, come and get a picture of this one”. As I made my way over and saw this iced, spiky wonder standing tall, I was grateful for the weather. Not a regular occurrence unless I’m in Los Angeles, I assure you, but then that’s another attitude altogether.
