I’m not kidding, last summer it took me until AUGUST to find the maxi dress I wanted. I had been looking since late spring and knew that as soon as I had bought one of these babies I would be hooked.
Now when I see a dress that even slightly resembles a maxi dress I buy it.
Case in point – the pink dress in the first two pictures. Not strictly a maxi but good enough for me. I bought it vintage for 10 dollars in Topanga Canyon.
The colour goes well with the hair bow, which is something else I’m having trouble staying away from right now.
Who’s to say I won’t be channeling Minnie Mouse by Christmas?!
This was my first maxi. Picked up on The Grove in West Hollywood last summer. If I could wear this in November I would and I think THAT is what I love so much about the maxi trend …. very comfy, kinda glam too! Not often that those two characteristics are paired in such harmony and it brings me more relief than I can describe.
This is my current fave. Again, picked up at Hidden Treasures in Topanga for about fifteen dollars.
I most definitely have a great deal of Bo-Ho in me and that never comes out more than in the summertime.
Long live the Maxi dress and all who swan about in them!
