I really can’t remember the last time this happened BEFORE Christmas.
I find snow really emotive actually. Everything becomes so pure and calm and quiet. Unless you’re stuck in travel chaos of course or have a great deal of it year upon year. But we don’t around these parts so it becomes and event. When it comes there’s nothing else for it but to get outside as soon as it’s light enough and be in it.
I’m listening to the last few moments of Terry Wogan’s breakfast show on Radio Two right now. Jeez, too much for a baby carrying emotional wreck. Snow and the loss of ‘The Terry’.
ENOUGH ALREADY!!
Hee hee!
Here’s the path at the back. So bright and beautiful.
Some colour peeking out from underneath the white.
And a garden view that I still can’t believe I have. Robert and I are grateful for a lot right now and this sight, in its present state, is one of them.
Oh how I want it to last until Christmas Eve (my favourite day of the year bar NONE) but I think the snow is heading off tomorrow.
Still, we had it, we saw it and we kicked about in it. I say ‘we’ I actually mean me and the two babies because Robert HAD, HAD, HAD to get into London today for work. No question, he had to make it. Bless him on his journey to and from.
Come home soon, my love.
Until then it’s me and a tin of Quality Street.
