Phew, what a week! Wow, where has it gone to???
Well today is the day of the photo shoot. The beautiful people from BBC Homes & Antiques Magazine are due here in a little bit so I thought I’d take a quick moment to pop in and say “Hello”
As you can see from the pictures I’ve been fiddling about a wee bit and have ‘half’ set the table up in a semi-Christmassy way. But I’m sure the magazine will come in and work their magic themselves and I have to say that I’m mightily looking forward to picking up as many styling tips as I can to use in my own home.

I am going to be Tweeting and ‘Facebooking’ throughout the day so if you are not a fan of my Facebook page or follow me on Twitter then do feel free to join the party by clicking on the links at the bottom of this post.

I’m excited to see how the shoot turns out and although it doesn’t look that Christmassy in here right now I’m sure it will by the time the team from the magazine have finished.

Yay!
Let’s hear it for photo shoots.
I can think of worse ways to spend a Friday.
I love you all so much and thank you for visiting me here today. Your stories of the books you used to read as children were utterly delicious and heartwarming. I’m not kidding I read and read and read the comments several times over.
We leave for a trip to Devon tomorrow and although I spent all that time packing for the babies Robert and I are yet to put a single item in to our cases. Ooops!
So if you see me posting from the beach and our clothing looks very, very small. A little like clothing for a three to six month old baby in fact, then you’ll know who’s case we’ve been raiding.

Looks really good Cherry. I absolutely adore Christmas. Busy making a Victorian mantel cover today, as you have inspired me on to make something unique. Does the magazine come out in November? Need to order it from Saudi. Happy Holiday Cherry, you are an amazing person. Lizzy
Hi Cherry & Team,
Hope it is all going great there – it must be so so exciting. You must let us all know the date the magazine is released so we know when to buy it.
Have fun & enjoy your holiday next week.
Karen
I hope you have a great day – and a great holiday next week!!
Nooooooooo you can’t be doing christmas stuff already!!! I am still clinging desperately onto summer – it can’t be Autumn yet…….I’m not ready!!!
I LOVE CHRISTMAS!!!!
My other half says I go overboard every year (which is fairness I think I do!)
I decorate every single room in the house with different styles and colours. I love decorating the house (and I don’t let the other half help as he does it wrong!) and then sitting back in all the christmassy goodness!!
Ohhhhhh I love the idea of Balls in pots on the table – I might pinch that idea with my light pink and blue Baubles this year!
Oh Your Friday sounds so much more fun than mine!! I’ve got another 3 hours of work left!
The photo’s of the table set up look great Cherry.

I really like your white table and chairs – are they new or have you painted your old set?
The table looks fab – can’t wait to see the photo’s when the magazine is out.

Are you going to leave the decorations up until Xmas now??
Seeing the christmas tree picture on Facebook makes me want to get my decoration out now! I LOVE christmas and can’t wait for the cosy evenings in & spending loads of time with the family!

It does not surprise me at all that your home is going to be in a magazine – these pictures are just beautiful. What lovely colours your have decorated with – much better than dark and heavy Red’s and Green’s!
I love those pink glasses, they look so nice – the whole table set up looks great.
How strange it must seem to be setting up for Christmas in September!
Your table looks so light and fresh – what a great choice of colours!
Can’t wait to see the final article when the magazine comes out.
What a pretty and creative way to decorate a table for Christmas, I love your use of baubles in a bowl. Brilliant.

You have a beautiful home and it deserves to be shown in such a lovely magazine.
