Food on my travels – Christmas in Vienna

Warm gluhwein makes you feel fuzzy and cosy at the same time.

I bought a kartoffelpuffer from a street vendor.

In fact the food available from vendors in Vienna is wonderful when it is very cold outside.

The Viennese coffee houses are rather famous and for good reason and we loved Demels most of all.

Lots of goodies to be had in the local cafes.

A wonderful array of herbs and spices for sale at the local naschmark – night market.
