Join Us As We Develop The Paddock
Hello!
Today we’re asking if you’d like to get involved in a wee project. As you may know we’re developing the area that you can see in the picture above and we’d love you to get involved.
We’re going to be building raised beds, planting fruit and veg, transforming the space in general with little wooden houses etc. and documenting the whole thing. If you’ve got a veg patch that you’re particularly proud of, fruit trees that keep you in apple pies all autumn or tend to an allotment that you’ve waited ten years for then we would LOVE to hear from you and re-live your growing adventures with you.
BUT, and this is a big but, BUT if you are a total novice and you have never grown a thing in your life but you’d really love to start then we want to hear from you too. We want to know what it is that you’ve always dreamt of growing but have not yet attempted. If you have a small space and want some ideas let us know and we’ll all come up with something together. If you have a large empty space, like we do right now, and are not sure how to fill it then perhaps we can come up with a good overall plan.
We’re also going to be making it the prettiest garden you’ve ever seen. I’m not having mounds of earth littered with crusty raised beds, compost heaps right in in the middle of the space and weeds galore. Nope, I’m concentrating on making it a sanctuary outdoors that is a delight to be in and little slice of heaven. So I’m particularly interested in your garden design ideas and stories. I am obsessed with really old garden furniture right now and anything made out of cast iron catches my eye in an instant!
*Of course this obsession with the garden has left me little time to look after myself and I am currently sporting a pair of tracksuit bottoms that should be OUTLAWED!!!!!!

The paddock is wide open for growing, not just fruit and vegetables but also wide open for growing a community online with lots and lots of tips, ideas and knowledge.
There will also be prizes and goodies along the way which is exciting for us as we get to choose what they will be!
