- 50ml White Rum
- 30ml Strawberry Schnapps or liqueur
- 50ml fresh lime juice (approx 6 limes)
- 100g Fresh Strawberries (approx 5 strawberries)
- 1 tblsp caster sugar
- 125ml cloudy lemonade
- 3 cups ice
- Blender
Last year we went down to our local pick your own site for our strawberries – you can read about it here, so this year we decided to grow our own strawberries, and they are doing very well indeed.
So red and incredibly juicy.
So, we figured what better way to enjoy them than within a refreshing summery cocktail.
And you can’t get much more summery than a Strawberry Daiquiri.
You will need a blender to make this drink as it involves crushing the ice; pour all the ingredients into the blender and mix for around 20 secounds. Pour the cocktail into your chosen glasses and serve immediately. The ingredients in the red box makes two large glasses of the cocktail.
It’s set to be a bit of a scorcher this weekend for many of us, and this would make a perfect Barbeque drink.
