The birds are back. They wake us before the alarm goes off and I have to say it’s the most delicious way to start the day.  I think perhaps Robert and I are consciously listening out for any signs of Spring as that means the babies are getting closer to being air-born.

The arrival of the birds has also brought the arrival of some sun and it has filled the bedrooms. Filled I tell you.

My room gets it in the afternoon. Perfect for weekend afternoon naps before heading down for a bar-b-q (slightly hot and sweaty looking but worth it!)

The guest room in the middle of the landing gets it in the middle of the day. But in the evening it is wonderful too. Do you remember this post from last Summer?

And the guest room at the end of the hall gets the sun in the morning. Boo particularly likes it and can often be found loitering under the window.

We’re moving items of furniture around a lot right now. Making the house more user friendly before the Meatballs get here and generally fiddling. The piano stool in this picture is the one we covered last Spring and that is now in my bedroom in front of the dresser but the quilt on the bed……..
