The dining room sees a lot of action over any sort or holiday and this year is no exception. I’ve designed a brand new tablecloth with two stunning runners using some delicious fabric I picked up at my new favourite fabric store. I left the taffeta bows on the backs of the chairs from Christmas simply removing the green part of the bow to make it all together more ‘Spring like’.

Soon the eggs will replaced by cheesecake brought to the house by my Mum. Much more tasty.

My ever expanding collection of Orchids. I’ll show you what I’ve been doing with these over the next two weeks.

An indulgent shot as I so loved the way this sofa was bathed in the morning sun. If the weather report is correct for this Easter it won’t see much of this.

Another orchid. This time creamy white. I love to have them on the table as many of them are tall enough not to interfere with the food or settings in any way.

I throughly enjoy decorating and designing for my home at any time of year but Easter is special as it marks the start of the ‘Season’ in my home and family’s life. And what a season it shall be this year.

On Monday we’ve got a big family meal and an Easter Egg hunt. I had great plans to decorate the trees in the back garden with bunting and hide the eggs in the grass but I have a feeling that the eggs will be hidden behind the sofa instead due to the rain.
