To follow on from yesterdays paddock update we wanted to show you some of the things that we have been growing in it.

There’s nothing quite like that feeling of satisfaction when you grow your own fruit and veg and the crop you produce is actually pretty decent. This year we are growing quite a lot in our raised beds down in the paddock, and we are very pleased to say that our Romaine (Pinokkio) Lettuce has done beautifully.

We planted our lettuce seeds all the way back in March from just one packet and this was what they looked like on 18 April. Tiny little green shoots doing their best to poke their heads out to say hello.

This was them on 30 April – growing bigger by the day.

And this is them now.

Looking amazingly green.

So we did what anyone would do with their freshly grown crop….
